Allowing your child to travel abroad without parental supervision has got to be one of the most daunting things for a parent. We understand that you are putting full responsibility on both us as an organisation and the group leaders. We are committed to ensuring your son or daughter are kept safe and this is our priority.
“Both of my daughters have now been on trips to both Kenya and India with YTA. The idea of them doing this at first was really worrying for me however after attending meetings with the YTA team I felt a lot more confident about them going abroad. They both had the time of their lives and I’m so glad they were able to take part in what was a life changing trip for both. They are now both signed up to go to India in 2017!” Helen Diplock
With years of experience with working with young people abroad we provide opportunities that will give your child a trip of a life time whilst gaining invaluable skills. Our trips are not your average holiday and your child will take part in a range of activities that allow them to experience a different culture, work with communities, volunteer in projects for disadvantaged children and have an adventure that takes them outside of their comfort zone and allows them to experience something they have never done before. Our trips really do make a difference to a young person’s life.
The feedback we receive from our students and young people that travel with us is always outstanding and the path they take when they return from a trip like this is always so positive. Many return knowing exactly what they want to do with their future, while others have simply learnt to appreciate everything they have and are left wanting to do more to make a difference. An experience like this is a great thing for your child to put on their CV/UCAS applications and certainly puts them a step above the rest.
Your son or daughter will have a huge impact on the lives of so many others and this is something YOU as parents should be extremely proud of.
Our team go above and beyond to ensure your child makes the most of their trip with us, putting their safety at the top of our list. The support starts here in the UK with fundraising events and pre-departure advice. They will also have a member of the YTA team with them at all times throughout their time in India and Kenya.
There is 24-hour support throughout their trip and you can get in contact with a member of our team at any point. A parent pack will be provided prior to departure which has all of your child’s travel details and contact numbers.
We are members of the Travel Trust Association (The Travel Trust Association exists in order to protect you, the customer, with 100% financial protection and has been doing so for over 20 years.
