Our adventures are nothing less than jam packed and ‘what’s included’? We hear you ask, well in this blog we will be looking at some of the excursions available for YTA’s trips!
Within each of our trips YTA include ‘Younique’ excursions for you to be able to experience.
Even though Kenya is a predominantly volunteer based and community engagement trip; as standard in our packages we include a Safari at Lake Nakuru National Park. You simply cannot go to Kenya and not go on Safari, from seeing lions and rhinos to flamingos and baboons you won’t want it to end.
Thinking you want to experience more from Kenya, we have a number of additional excursions that we can quote for. Including visits to the world-famous David Sheldrick Wildlife trust to see the orphaned elephants and a chance to get up close and personal with the giraffes and Nairobi’s Giraffe centre. Or maybe even a trip to the world famous Masai Mara where you get to visit a local Masai village whilst getting your chance to spot ‘The Big Five’ this certainly is a once in a lifetime opportunity and the views will take your breath away.
Vietnam is a fast-paced trip which includes three standard excursions; the first being a beautiful trek through the terraced rice fields in Sapa with a home stay for you to experience Vietnam culture at it’s finest. The second being an evening aboard a boat in the stunning Halong Bay, surrounded by hundreds of limestone islets creating a natural skyline you will never forget, whilst enjoying an authentic cookery class. Finally, a trip on the Mekong Delta to experience the floating markets and stilt villages, this excursion is nothing like you could imagine but one you certainly won’t forget in a hurry! Still wanting more after all of that… there are plenty of opportunities to add extra excursions in from a guided tour and lunch in Hanoi, to a visit to golden bridge in Da Nang but maybe you might like to enjoy a trip to the local spa or spend some time on the beach within the jam packed two weeks!
India will always be a whirlwind of a trip… and you won’t believe what you will be able to do in the two weeks you have there. The main excursion of our India trip is a breath-taking trek in the foothills of the Himalayas, trekking to 4000m above sea level, waking up to some of the most amazing sunrises you will ever see, this certainly is going to see you step out of your comfort zone and achieve something amazing. Next, it’s time for the white-water rafting… this exhilarating activity will be something you remember forever, rafting 25km down the River Ganges alongside amazing views and your team of travellers it’s the best way to end your experience in the mountains! And finally, you can’t visit India without going to the Taj Mahal, the remarkable mausoleum will leave you speechless and the photos just don’t do it justice for what you see in person! Whilst in India you will also spend time visiting the mountain school and projects based in Delhi, there will be little time to add anymore in, but when visiting Rishikesh you must pay a visit to the Beatles Ashram!
